Our extensive network of providers and offices allow our practice to deliver care in an atmosphere that is personal, patient centered, and compassionate.It is our mission to provide the most comprehensive nephrology services available with a personal commitment to enhance our patients quality of life through professional activity and dedication.By providing service excellence through highly specialized physicians and staff, we commit to serving the individual needs and circumstances of patients.A non-exempt position responsible for successful day to day operations of a nephrology practice officeDuties include, but are not limited to:Ensures follow through of established strategies to improve the patient experienceResolves patient complaints; reports unresolved complaints to the Site Manager promptlyDelivers high quality customer serviceDaily clinic are prepared for in advanceReviews lab reports dailyManages and prioritizes incoming and outgoing phone callsAdministers Intradermal, IM, IV, and subcutaneous InjectionsDemonstrates Basic Assessment Skills through completion of nurse visitsPerforms clinical tasks according to practice policy suture/staple removal wound care involving sterile technique EKGsUtilizes patient assistance optionsPerforms precise venous and capillary phlebotomyWorks prescription refills according to practice policyCommunicates with ESRD Coordinator for dialysis seatingUtilizes workflows that maximize visit complianceUtilizes established workflows which maximize overall office efficiencySchedules appointmentsUpdates EMRProcesses tasksDemonstrates an understanding of Immunization, Lab Order, Charge and Problem entry as well as their associated workflowsReviews encounter forms for ordersCompletes formsSchedules outside proceduresSchedules hospital follow up appointments according to policyArranges Hospital AdmissionsObtains prior authorizationsFollows operating instructions and notifies appropriate personnel of any malfunctions.Completes required CEUsRequirements:Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience; Med-Surg , ER or Primary Care experience preferredExcellent Assessment SkillsPhone TriageMulti-Tasking CapabilityLab ReviewCritical Thinking SkillsTeam PlayerProficient in Word, Excel, EMRs, Outlook.Competent in Learning Management SystemsMust hold a current and valid North Carolina LPN/RN License.Current CPR certificateby Jobble
