Job Description:

PACE of the Southern Piedmont is a not-for-profit, community-based organization committed to the wellness of seniors and is seeking a Home Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care and supervision in our participant's homes. The Home Care CNA candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, with an interest in working with the elderly population. Home Care CNA duties will involve personal contact and interaction with varying participant population. Tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Providing personal care to participants.
• Assisting with activities of daily living, transferring, and lifting.
• Reporting any change in status to Agency Supervisor.
• Helping with meal preparation and feeding.
• Completing basic housekeeping functions.
• Documenting services provided and participant condition in Electronic Health Record or as directed.
• Working in POSP's Adult Day Center when needed.
• Participating in On Call rotation for weekdays and weekends.Required experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). At least 1 year experience working with the frail, elderly population. Experience working with dementia and/or dementia training preferred. Activities experience a plus.
