Psychiatry Opening Near Charlotte, NC Located in Statesville, NC - Charlotte 40m Seeking a Psychiatrist to join an Adult Psychiatry / Geri-Psych practice - 16 Bed Adult Psychiatric Unit and a 12 Bed Geriatric Psychiatric Unit - Medical Center also has the new 14-bed dual diagnosis unit. - Adult Psychiatry - Inpatient Only - The new Psychiatrist will be walking into an active program. - 42 beds: 16 bed acute adult, 12 bed geriatric, 14 bed acute adult/geriatric overflow, serving patients 18+ - Join 1 FT Psychiatrist & 2 FT Nurse Practitioners - All full-time providers are expected to participate in the call rotation and assist the emergency and medical departments with consults. - Call is typically one week each month and some weekend coverage. - Full support staff: BH Medical Director, Director, Nurse Manager, Intake Coordination, Utilization Review, Nursing, Social Work, Recreation Therapy Benefits May Include: - Competitive Compensation Commensurate with Training and Experience - Commencement Bonus - Relocation Assistance - Medical Education Loan Repayment Assistance, if Needed - Annual CME Allowance - Group Health, Life and Disability Insurance - 401K Plan - Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave - Professional Liability Insurance Located just 10 miles north of beautiful Lake Norman, in the foothills of North Carolina, Statesville offers the best of both worlds-a peaceful, rural community with easy access to the urban amenities in Charlotte and Winston-Salem.
