Looking for a Separk Mansion is one of the Charlotte areas most sought after venues for weddings and events. At Separk Mansion we are committed to being a great place to work with a fun and entrepreneurial culture.We are actively recruiting for a Venue Manager/Sr. Event Coordinator to join our team.Our Separk Mansion Venue Manager/Sr. Event Coordinator is responsible for the operational aspects of the venue and the success of our weddings. Our Venue Manager/Sr. Coordinator is a leader, coach and mentor that fosters exceptional environments for our staff, clients and their guests. We seek candidates with proven leadership, a pro-active spirit and a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.Candidates should be independent, entrepreneurial problem solvers, passionate about the wedding/event industry with excellent attention to detail and flawless communication skills.Compensation: This is a full-time non-exempt position with a competitive salary and benefitsQualified Candidates Must:

  • Have a minimum of 2-years experience managing staff and events at a county club, event venue or hotel.
  • Possess a minimum of 2-years wedding/event planning/coordination experience
  • Be accomplished in sales with the ability to close/book weddings
  • Be genuine, sincere and possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organizational skills and prompt follow-through. Be self-motivated, of the highest integrity
  • Have experience supervising and leading the work of others during weddings and special events.
  • Have exceptional guest service, organizational and time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Remain calm under pressure to solve any situation in a timely manner
  • Identify as an independent and entrepreneurial problem-solvers.
  • Work weekends, evenings and some holidays as well as the hours required to fulfill the principal duties and responsibilities.
  • Be proficient in social media marketing(insta, snapchat and facebook). Experience with social media scheduling apps is a plus.
