The Legal Departments Operations, RRP & CCAR Division - Reporting, Analytics & Technology Strategy Section is responsible for identifying and driving Legal Department technology, process, and data needs, interfacing with stakeholders and Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) to establish and prioritize technology deliverables, driving continuous process improvements, and providing support to the Legal Department on critical initiatives and process work.

This Business Initiatives Consultant 3 position will play a key role in the knowledge management strategy and roadmap, requiring collaboration across Divisions on process improvement and redesign efforts. The Consultant will manage concurrent and competing deadlines, quickly assess issues, and identify mitigations or resolutions to present to senior leadership and stakeholders to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this opportunity.

The Business Initiatives Consultant 3 will:


  • Lead requirements sessions to gather and document functional and process design from end-users and stakeholders
  • Consult across Legal Department Divisions on technology usage and related processes to identify opportunities for improvements and reduction of risk
  • Work closely with senior management and stakeholders on appropriate implementation strategy and plans for initiatives
  • Drive technology roadmap for 1 or more Divisions and partner closely with Division Initiative Leadership on operational goals and business strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all partners at various levels across the Department
  • Lead efforts to champion and drive best practices and recommend new workflows and/or processes
  • Understand the process definition standards (modeling, architecture, object relationships)
  • Ensure plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations


    Required Qualifications


    • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning




      Desired Qualifications


      • Agile experience
      • Project management experience
      • Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma methodology
      • Experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements which may include workflows, process maps, or business processes
      • Business process experience
      • Ability to manage initiatives involving process improvements
      • Ability to gather business requirements and create technical solutions
      • Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
      • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills




        Other Desired Qualifications


        • Ability to act as Product Owner/Product Manager for given Domain
        • Experience with Document Management or Knowledge Management
        • Experience working with Visio
        • Ability to identify process design gaps and suggest efficiencies to drive toward solutions and synergies
        • Ability to manage concurrent and competing deadlines, quickly assess issues, and identify mitigations or resolutions to present to senior leadership and stakeholders
