Agency Sales Manager OVERVIEW Are you a motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills? Do you have a passion for promoting personal lines insurance? We have an exciting opportunity to join Dairyland's North Carolina Agency Sales team! This role will focus on non-standard auto and power sports lines of business and may be staffed as an Agency Sales Manager I, II, or Senior depending on the selected candidate's related experience and qualifications. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Agency Sales Manager you will be responsible for agency selection through identification of qualified agency partnerships. You will also be responsible for implementing plans and programs to contribute to the achievement of agency produced sales, premium and loss ratio objectives. In addition you'll: Oversee agency sales within the state of North Carolina in the Western region Oversee agency selection, suspension and terminations Provide comprehensive sales expertise to agents to increase production Develop new and enhance existing agent premium sources to achieve sales and premium objectives Implement plans and programs to contribute to the achievement of agency produced sales and premium objectives Identify and develop agency behavior that drives profitable growth Develop rapport with agents to develop acceptable and profitable business WHAT IT TAKES Bachelors degree preferred 2-5+ years of related work experience in the insurance industry, with familiarity of non-standard auto Sales experience and knowledge of professional sales techniques Effective human relations and communication skills to communicate with prospective agents and current agents Ability to meet travel requirements of this job - the expectation in this position is 4 days a week travel within your territory.
