Job Description:
As a Project Manager II, you will lead project teams and serve
as a trusted client partner to deliver high-quality work on time
and on budget. You will guide day-to-day execution, build strong
relationships, and keep teams aligned from project startup through
closeout. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who can
balance client needs, project performance, and team success across
multiple small to mid-sized projects or programs. Deliver Results
Lead multiple small to medium-sized projects and/or moderate-volume
programs with a focus on quality, schedule, budget, and client
satisfaction. Serve as a primary client contact, building trust,
maintaining strong communication, and identifying opportunities to
deepen client relationships. Guide project startup activities,
including budgets, schedules, project setup, and team alignment.
Support proposal and agreement development, consultant
coordination, and contract setup to position projects for success.
Monitor project financial performance, technical effort, scope, and
schedule while proactively identifying risks and managing changes.
Oversee project management best practices, QA/QC milestones, and
compliance with Progressive Companies processes and project
standards. Document project progress and closeout activities while
helping identify future work and marketing opportunities. Mentor
team members, support collaboration across disciplines, and help
resolve project quality and risk issues before construction.
Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Architecture,
Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related
field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated project management experience leading small to
medium-sized projects or programs with responsibility for scope,
schedule, budget, and team coordination. Strong client relationship
skills with the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and
manage competing priorities effectively. Working knowledge of
project financial management, risk management, QA/QC processes, and
consultant coordination. Proven ability to lead teams, foster
collaboration, mentor others, and drive results in a fast-paced
environment. Preferred Experience supporting proposals, contracts,
and project startup processes. Experience working within
architecture, engineering, or multidisciplinary design
environments. PMP, RA, PE, NCIDQ, or other relevant professional
credential.
