About The Role:

As a CBRE Audit Manager, you will develop a team that audits and evaluates risks and the adequacy of controls within national business units and key business processes.

This job is part of the Audit job function. They are responsible for the monitoring and review of financial processes and reporting for external auditors, regulatory authorities, etc.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Conduct audits using an agile methodology to meet the needs of national businesses and service lines. Develop and manage iterative deliverables during all parts of the audit cycle and assist the team in successfully meeting its commitments.
  • Understand, interpret, and review business plans. Assess risks to business objectives, evaluate control effectiveness, and deliver insights to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of an audit approach and testing strategy for assigned projects to ensure key business risks and controls are evaluated.
  • Coordinate and participate in the completion of audit procedures and communicate findings to the product owner and stakeholders. Prepare draft reports for review and ensure audit comments are agreed upon, concise, and focused on the root cause of the issue and intended outcome.
  • Assist the Global SOX Assurance team during their reviews of the company's SOX control environment.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

    What You'll Need:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.     • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. CPA, CA, CISA, or CIA preferred. 8 years preferred.
    • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
    • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
    • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
    • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
