As Global Commodity Manager for Travel Management you are driving
improvement opportunities across Siemens Energy to actively
influence the company's behavior around our travel program. By
analyzing spend and contract data, you identify commercial
opportunities to drive Siemens Energy forward. With your creative
und pragmatic ideas you can develop plans to exploit these
commercial opportunities. Your collaborative way-of-working while
developing these plans with cross-functional experts makes you a
valued member of our team. Your ability to negotiate and your
strength in building strategic supplier relationships is a strong
contributor to satisfy our stakeholder needs.
How You'll Make an Impact
In your new role you contribute to the development of global travel
policies with cross-functional partners.
Jointly with our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner you
will create and implement strategies for Siemens Energy globally,
incl. the selection of suppliers and service partners.
In alignment with the BPO, you will jointly develop sourcing
strategies and ensure that Siemens Energy's interests are
You will create transparency of all travel related cost globally
and will develop process improvements and savings opportunities to
support demand management within the business and contribute to a
more cost-efficient organization.
You will support the global Concur Management and ensure the usage
of global travel related contracts via Concur.
Further, you will contribute to the Carbon Neutral initiative and
will create and implement measures globally which will be included
in the respective Siemens Energy policies.
What You Bring
We look forward to meeting you if you hold a university degree in
business administration or any comparable field. Alternatively, you
have a commercial apprenticeship together with extensive additional

strategic procurement or in the field of travel management.
Additionally, you have good project management skills and extensive
knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). You are also
familiar with the SCM Tool landscape.
You are highly commercially focused and have very good negotiating
