At Medvantx Services, you'll play a crucial role in our efforts to do just that.Job Summary/Objective The [Director, Sr. Director, Vice President] of Business Development is an integral part of the Medvantx sales team. This individual will have a strong interest in pursuing business growth, including understanding and contributing to business area strategies and developing a deep understanding of how to combine Medvantx services, technologies, and capabilities to address customer challenges. The successful candidate will have the ability to build relationships and sell Medvantx solutions to Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device and Diagnostics Manufacturers. This individual will influence our strategic direction and leverage relationships that contribute to revenue growth for Medvantx.Additionally, the candidate will maintain connections with cross-functional business units within Medvantx to ensure an aligned approach to customer acquisition and communication. This is currently an individual contributor role. It reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. Medvantx is in a period of growth, and this is considered a leadership role within the organization. Over time, with strong performance and demonstrated leadership, there may be the opportunity for this position to evolve into a role with direct reports as the organization continues to expand.Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities of this role is as follows: - Drive sales revenue growth through the development and implementation of strategies to generate sales from new and existing manufacturers - Create and execute sales programs for new prospective clients - Identify and develop strategic partnership opportunities - Achieve quarterly, and annual sales goals - Maintain ownership of relationship development strategy for current customers and proactively pursue opportunities for improvement and expansion through various activities such as; attending tradeshows/conferences to increase awareness and source leads, developing quotes and negotiating contracts - Record relevant activities in HubSpot database - Share background and information on prospective clients with internal Medvantx stakeholders - Build and conduct executive presentations for internal presentations and for external presentations in the form of executive briefings to customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders - Work cross-functionally with the sales leadership and marketing teams to ensure maximization of growth opportunitiesCritical Skills - Knowledge and experience selling healthcare enterprise software, patient services, brand, agency or related services - Documented track record of selling large, enterprise-wide, complex technology & service deals of substantial size, 3M+ - Track record of exceeding quota - Ability to own and execute in high-visibility situations - Strong analytical skills - Advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and SharePoint - Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment - Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with a high level of difficulty - The individual will be expected to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of their work product.
