Our client is currently seeking a Business Activation Manager -
North Carolina.
Based remotely in NC with ability to travel to retailers 20% of the
time (some overnights).
This is a hybrid sales/brand marketing/retail marketing blended
background with strong analytical capabilities and customer facing
training/new products presentation.

North Carolina RegionJob Summary: They are seeking a motivated
individual to lead and guide their company's initiatives in
marketing, merchandising, training, and in-store experience (Retail
Edge) to drive positive changes and foster business growth. As the
key driver of their Retail Edge program, you will be responsible
for developing and executing a strategic plan to enhance the retail
customers' effectiveness at driving and converting traffic.
Additionally, you will provide mentorship and collaborative support
to sales representatives in the field, while working closely with
the assigned Regional Sales Director (RSD) and Field Sales Manager
(FSM). This is a remote position that can be based in any location
within the region.What You'll Do (Essential Duties and
Responsibilities): Facilitate internal Retail Edge trainings with
the objective of elevating the Regional Sales team proficiency in a
measurable way:--- Collaborate with Region Leadership (RSD and FSM)
to establish measurable Retail Edge competency goals for the
Regional Sales team.--- Evaluate the Retail Edge proficiency of
each Account Manager and develop a strategic plan to enhance their
confidence and utilization of Retail Edge.--- Conduct virtual
trainings, facilitate small group sessions and division meetings,
as well as one-on-one coaching to guide Account Managers on
essential Retail Edge best practices and performance objectives.---
Support regional reps in strategic planning by preparing for
upcoming retail meetings.--- Participate actively in Regional staff
calls and Regional leadership calls.--- Monitor and assess the
Regional team's expertise in Retail Edge, tracking and measuring
their capabilities on a year-over-year basis.--- Provide feedback
to Field Sales Manager (FSM), Regional Sales Director (RSD), and
Director of Activation & Analytics (DAA) on Account Manager
performance in Retail Edge deployment.--- Conduct end-of-year
Retail Edge reviews, highlighting Account Managers'
accomplishments, for FSM, RSD, and DAA.--- Collaborate with Retail
Edge solution owners to customize content that aligns with Regional
needs and priorities.Drive business growth and create positive
impact externally by supporting reps in field to help them
influence at retail--- Demonstrate strong thought leadership in
developing advertising strategies and creative campaigns that
effectively promote the company's brands and enhance Retailers
brand recognition.--- Utilize shopper, customer, and category
insights to develop comprehensive marketing, merchandising,
training, and in-store plans for assigned Retailers on an annual
basis.--- Travel approximately 15 days per quarter many of which
will be overnights for Retailer-facing meetings, where you will
collaborate with customers to create plans, present insights, and
effectively communicate and sell-in solutions.--- Monitor and
measure account-level results, capturing best practices based on
key performance indicators (KPIs) defined by Regional
leadership.--- Analyze sales history, providing insights and
identifying factors contributing to variances between sales and
forecast, in order to support key projects.--- Serve as the voice
of the field and retailers, contributing to the development of
content for the Retail Edge program.--- Collaborate closely with
brand management, consumer marketing, and sales teams to ensure
alignment of brand objectives.--- Utilize cross-functional
expertise and establish strong relationships with Retail Edge
vendors to drive successful outcomes at the Regional level.What
You'll Need (Qualifications):--- Bachelor's Degree preferred--- 3+
years of sales or marketing experience
--- Strong foundational level of marketing understanding,
knowledge, and capability
--- Strategic and executional expertise --- Strong group
facilitation skillsets--- Dynamic Public speaker--- Excellent
verbal communications skills--- Proven success at managing account
