JOB DESCRIPTION:The opportunity: your role at Driven BrandsThe Category Manager, Corporate Services will be a member of the Driven Advantage team, the procurement shared services function of Driven Brands. In this role, you will be responsible for executing strategic projects for the Driven Advantage team including, but not limited to, developing spend category strategies, building internal reporting, developing corporate service processes case for change and building newly designed processes into the business, negotiating contracts, monitoring supplier performance levels, and conducting spend analysis - while partnering with internal stakeholders across business segments and organizational functions. The role will manage a breadth of Corporate Services related categories such as: Finance & Risk Management, Professional Services, Human Resources, IT Services, Legal, and Marketing/Advertising.     • Growing lasting relationships with internal business partners from various departments including finance, legal, human resources, marketing, risk management, and more to understand their unique requirements and needs
    • Developing category strategies and RFP templates in corporate services related categories
    • Determining service needs and researching potential suppliers
    • Acting as a liaison and communicating pricing and performance needs to vendors and suppliers
    • Perform spend analysis to establish a detailed view of the current spend segmentation
    • Conducting and managing supplier bidding events including RFP's, etc.
    • Negotiating favorable procurement contracts with selected vendors and suppliers while ensuring business continuity - focusing on pricing and business terms
    • Understanding and documenting business processes and requirements, performing root cause analyses, developing business cases, and gathering information
    • Monitoring and managing project progress and risks, and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
    • Accountable for producing reports to measure results against strategies and goals as well as manage risk
    • Have a strong focus on building a reputation as an authoritative expert in your area by constantly updating your understanding of current business and industry trends
    • Taking full responsibility for tasks including consistent self-review of work to identify and improve an approach for producing high quality deliverables without supervision
    • Constantly considering, sharing, and implementing new ways to improve our processes and collaboration methods
    • Represents Company and the Supply Chain Function to both clients and the vendor community in a fair, ethical, and professional manner Minimum Qualifications:
      • Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, etc.
      • 5+ years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience, 2+ years of experience managing at least 1 or 2 corporate services categories
      • Advanced analytical skills including mastery of Microsoft Excel including knowledge of how to create pivot tables, use flash fill, use mathematical and lookup formulas (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH)
      • Ability to assimilate data from disparate sources into a comprehensive and objective analysis
      • Understanding of key corporate services operational KPI's
      • Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to manage contracts through the supplier lifecycle
      • Strong research skills including supply market, macroeconomic, and pricing research
      • Vendor management/relationship skills that develop a network in multiple geographic regions and multiple organizational units
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
      • Sense of urgency and independent initiative toward accomplishing objectives
      • Ability to rapidly assimilate information and solve complex problems
      • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office products, especially PPT and Word Preferred Qualifications:
        • 2+ years' experience sourcing marketing/advertising services
        • Pricing strategy or sales experience for a professional services firm or advertising agency
        • Master's degree in supply chain, business, finance, or economics What's in it for you:
