The General Manager will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and success and will have the support and resources needed to achieve their goals.The primary responsibilities of the General Manager are:Daily Operations & Team Management:Provide leadership and daily support to direct and indirect reports within the team. This includes training, coaching, and mentoring installers, providing expert technical assistance, and building relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met. Strong ability to manage inventory and maintain equipment, while leading high-performing teams, and ensuring all safety guidelines are followed. Maintain a high level of visibility in the field, leading technicians, and monitoring the work of both technicians and subcontractors. Contribute technical assistance by testing or troubleshooting installations. Ensure local, county, state or federal code requirements are being met. Drive a strong Customer First environment and culture ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction and support. Promptly address customer issues and complaints, and develop solutions to resolve issues timely, and effectively.Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding customer issues, and status of resolving such issues to foster a customer- focused workplace.Sound Financial Decision Making:As a part of the role, The General Manager will also be responsible for budgeting, P&L, and setting KPI's for the team. This includes creating and managing the budget for the team, analyzing the financial performance of the company, and setting key performance indicators to measure the team's success. The General Manager will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of the team against these KPIs and taking corrective action where necessary to ensure the team is meeting their targets and contributing to the overall success of the company.Business Development:In addition, the General Manager will also be responsible for business development, identifying new business opportunities, and building relationships with potential clients to increase revenue and grow the company's customer base. The General Manager will also be responsible for networking, building, and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners, and identifying new business opportunities through networking and industry events.Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead, supervisory or management role in the insulation or construction fields
  • Previous business development experience
  • Previous operations experience
  • Valid state driver's licensePreferred Qualifications:
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, be on the ground floor of building a new business
    • Highly Personable and engaging with customers
    • Deep and broad network within the construction industry
    • Vocational/Technical degree in aligned area of study
    • Technical certifications
    • Project Management Certification
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
    • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction ProjectsCompensation & Benefits: -Starting Compensation: $70,000 and increasing dependent on experience and qualifications
