us!RESPONSIBILITIES:Review and validate complex predictive models,
including the model assumptions, identifying key gaps and model
limitations, critically reviewing the conceptual soundness and
model data quality.Build benchmark models using mathematical and
statistical techniques such as Linear Regression, Logistic
Regression, Error Correction Models (ECM).Research and analyze data
using a variety of software programs, including R, SAS, Python
etc., and present findings to internal and external
stakeholders.Write structured, comprehensive validation reports for
assessment of the models, and meeting regulatory requirements for
independent model validation and effective challenge.Interpret and
forecast trends in time series data for macroeconomic variables to
use them as regressors for forecasting revenues.Recommend solutions
to econometric issues observed in time series data, to increase
applicability of the data for the models.Analyze and manage large,
complex financial datasets with programming tools such as VBA and
SQL.Build automated reporting toolsets, system, and control reports
to ensure audit and regulatory compliance.Generate financial
analysis to support business strategy, risk management, and
regulatory examinations.Build financial models to conduct industry
benchmarking using tools like VBA and Advanced
Excel.REQUIREMENTS:Master's degree or equivalent in Finance,
Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Finance or related; and3
years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative
occupation.Must include 3 years of experience in each of the
following:Analyzing and managing large, complex financial datasets
with programming tools such as VBA and SQL;Building automated
reporting toolsets, system and control reports to ensure audit and
regulatory compliance;Generating financial analysis to support
business strategy, risk management, and regulatory examinations;
and,Building financial models to conduct industry benchmarking
using tools like VBA and Advanced Excel.The Employer will accept
pre- or post-master's degree experience.
