    About the Role:

    • Provide daily supervisory support to the Quality Assurance Technicians and the Returns Area.
    • Develop and maintain the QMS.
    • Enhance existing processes by developing improved methods for product configuration, software testing, and product returns.
    • Develop departmental objectives and define and maintain key performance indicators (KPI's).
    • Develop training plans for employees and work with other departments to develop the curriculum and implement the plans.
    • Interact with customers and sales reps to understand issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Work with suppliers to enhance product quality.
    • Act as liaison with offshore team and -high-tech medical technology to identify and resolve product quality issues.
    • Analyze configuration and calibration data, customer complaints, and returns data to identify trends and propose corrective actions.
    • Interface with other departments (e.g., tech support, shipping, receiving, marketing, sales, customer service, accounting, etc.) to ensure seamless integration between the quality assurance processes and upstream and downstream processes.
    • Develop procedures, work instructions, and forms and ensure that employees are trained to utilize.
    • Audit other departments and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Serve on the safety board and oversee safety initiatives.
    • Serve as the point person for regulatory inquiries and initiatives.
    • Provide input to the annual budget.
    • Review and approve employee timecards.
    • Meet company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis; performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
    • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
    • Perform other duties as assigned

      Job Title: -Quality Assurance Manager
      Key Responsibilities:

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
      • Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements related to the warehousing and distribution processes. Knowledge of ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) and/or ISO/TS 16949 (Automotive) is beneficial.
      • Knowledge of MS Suite with solid experience of MS Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, charts, and macros required. Proficiency with MS Access, queries, structured query language (SQL), and/or VBA preferred. Proficiency of MS SharePoint preferred.
      • Proficiency of SalesForce preferred.
      • Ability to work independently with general instruction provided by supervisor.
      • Ability to work with advanced quality tools such as statistical process control, capability analysis, and predictive warranty analysis is preferred.
      • Demonstrated skill in analyzing supplier data and performing supplier development

        Minimum Qualifications:

        • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) preferred.
        • Minimum five years' experience in quality management to include experience working in an ISO 9001 environment in manufacturing or distribution, and previous experience implementing a QMS.
        • Minimum three years of supervisory/management experience, including managing remote teams.

          Desired Qualifications:
          The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the quality management system (QMS) to improve the customer experience with products. This position will oversee regulatory and safety initiates in addition to managing the Quality Assurance Technicians and the Returns Area.
          Location: -Charlotte, North Carolina
          Salary Range: -The salary for this position is between $75,000- $100,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
          This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for bonus based on achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
