They oversee the following areas: program planning and logistics; data management and analysis, and reporting; communications and marketing; process improvement and technology support reporting; and accounting/budgeting. - They are an integral part of the team, helping to streamline processes and provide program management and office management support, and by delivering reporting, analysis, and communications that will be leveraged by staff, faculty, students, and McIntire constituents. The Director of Operations and Data promotes efficiency and effectiveness throughout the team and serves as a steward for school data-collection and support the School's strategic vision around data best practices and analytics. In addition to working with and supporting the individual members of the CCCE team, the Director of Operations and Data partners with affiliate business and technology colleagues around Grounds as well as within the McIntire School itself. -What you will do:

  • Oversee all operations and administrative functions of CCCE office to ensure seamless flow of work and services
  • Directly manage the Programs Coordinator and Operations and Data Front Desk Associate roles and indirectly manage the front desk student workers (3-5 students)
  • Oversee all office communications to McIntire students, employers, faculty, staff, and other constituents based on team-approved strategy; requires a firm understanding of the MyMcIntire Portal functionality and how to post/edit communications as well as create and send emails
  • Supervise administrative, logistical, and event support for all career development and recruiting related programs, in collaboration with the CCCE Coaching team and Employer Relations team
  • Manage collection, reporting, and strategy for destinations data; serve as the data steward representative from CCCE and serve on school-wide data and process related committees that help to create and promote procedures and guidelines used by the McIntire school
  • Serve as a liaison between the Career Services and technology teams (both McIntire and affiliate offices) for software applications; gather feedback on system enhancements, manage change requests, develop/refine processes, help troubleshoot issues, manage reporting requests, and participate in across grounds collaboration meetings

    • Masters degree and at least 7 years of related work experience
    • Demonstrated management and leadership skills to motivate professional and administrative staff
    • Strong oral and written, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to gather, synthesize and present data and information for decision makers; experience with reporting and documentation of policies and procedures
    • High degree of professionalism; ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues with tact and discretion
    • Previous reporting experience
    • Preference will be given to applicants with 8 or more years of experience and/or at least 2 years of supervisory experience
    • Knowledge of various office and CRM platforms including MS Office, Salesforce, Handshake, Qualtrics, Power BI is highly desirableAnticipated hiring range: $ 95,000 - $105,000 The selected applicant will be required to complete a background check per university policy.
