Position Title: Finance Manager
Salary : 110,000 -125,000 / year
Location: Compass Group Headquarter office located in Charlotte, NC
We have an exciting opportunity! Our Financial Manager position provides leadership in reporting and analysis for our National Accounts in a variety of business lines, at the client and operator branch level. Specifically, manages the proforma process (client renewals), including tracking the renewal statuses, owns the processes and projects related to client profitability, including managing COPA, AGI requests, and special projects.

Job Summary

• 
  
• 
  Ensure that the Existing As-Is models are accurate and timely for all renewals
  
  
• 
  Work with Operations and management to model any proposed changes to the financials
  
  
• 
  Ensure the proposed models are accurate and reflect any changes to current conditions
  
  
• 
  Understand and be able to communicate the impact of any proposed changes on Top Line and PBO.
  
  
• 
  Ensure that all required reports and files are created as needed Sales, SAG, and other departments
  
  
• 
  Track all client renewals on a timely basis to ensure models are delivered timely
  
  
• 
  Ensure that AGI requests for National Accounts are handled timely and accurately
  
  
• 
  Ensure that P&L's reflect the real costs associated with client business deals.
  
  
• 
  Explain how underlying business changes impact the Top and Bottom Lines for Canteen, and Canteen One.
  
  
• 
  Manage Special Projects, including but not limited to, projects that affect MyResults.
  
  
• 
  Responsible for set of clients: prepare timely and accurate commission checks, financial and account data, reports and profitability analysis.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate and reconcile inter-company commission transactions with Compass.
  
  
• 
  Prepare accurate and timely Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement pricing packages
  
  
• 
  Run business searches on existing National clients and/or Canteen customers for RFP's and Proformas.
  
  
• 
  Manage effective communication with National Account Managers, branch management and client contacts.
  
  
• 
  Create accurate and timely ad-hoc report requests from clients
  
  
• 
  Analyze and understand business to drive national account profitability.
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelor's Degree in finance/Accounting is required.
    
    
  • 
    Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in finance, accounting, and/or financial analysis. Two years of Sr. Staff Accountant or Sr. Financial Analyst or equivalent experience.
    
    
  • 
    Strong relational database and/or enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) skills.
    
    
  • 
    Intermediate to Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    
    
  • 
    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Accuracy is critical.
    
    
  • 
    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, under minimal supervision while effectively meeting tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and as a team member.
    
    
  • 
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
    
    
  • 
    Ability to think outside the box to improve processes and create new solutions.
    
    
  • 
    High organization skills and ability to multi-task.
    
    
  •
