Client Manager, EHB Charlotte, NC As a Client Manager (Employee Health & Benefits), you'll be the one that provides best in class day-to-day service for our clients. -Every day is a little different. Today you may be working to resolve claim or billing and eligibility issues. Tomorrow, you could be reviewing Summary Plan Documents (SPDs), policies, contracts, agreements and plan documents for accuracy. You're a key piece of the puzzle when it comes to our client deliverables. -Whatever you're working on, it's all about building relationships with either internal teams or our clients or vendors. To thrive in this role, working knowledge of insurance markets, including product lines, and Health Care Reform knowledge. Preferred candidates will have three (3) to six (6) years of HR or benefit administration experience. -While this position requires a Life & Health License, colleagues would have ninety (90) days to obtain. We will count on you to:

  • Request current benchmarking data from carrier and/or internal resource at Strategic and/or Consultant direction.
  • Provide guidance/direction to Support and Specialty teams to prepare Client spreadsheets/proposal for all lines of coverage including:
    • Cost Analysis
    • Benefit comparisons
    • Benefit Analysis
    • Prepare marketing requests including census, benefits, rate data, and claims experience if applicable. Provides first review of RFP responses to ensure accurate completion. - Refers to Strategic and/or Consultant for direction on additional information needed.
    • Initiate Marketing process including instructing and overseeing Support in gathering all RFP documents from client or carrier. - Ensures the accuracy of the Marketing request. - Gives direction on alternates to be quoted. -Ensures proposals are correct and match marketing request and communicates to Consultant. Presents proposals to Strategic or Consultant and participates in formulating strategy for carrier negotiation and client strategy What you need to have: -
      • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
      • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
      • Ability to dial into the details, ensuring accuracy of the minute details of a project or task.
      • Life & Health License or ability to obtain within first 90 days
      • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future. What makes you stand out:
