Job Description:
Sr Lead Data and Engineering AnalystProvides business and
technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful
applications across multiple functions or business units.Key
Responsibilities and Duties
- Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and
monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data
quality, and analytical product / solution development.
- Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting
development, implementation and enhancements.
- Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing
dashboard reporting for operations and executive management to
enable data driven decision making.
- Analyzing results for multiple functions and communicating
conclusions from complex models to a wide range of
audiences.Educational Requirements

Experience
- Passionate about problem solving and searching for answers
using data
- Self-motivated individual needing little to no supervision or
direction when assigned projects
- Must be able to provide updates to projects in
advance/proactively
- Passionate about process documentation and operating as one
team
- Ability to manage the data analytics for multiple high impact
legal, remediation, and compliance projects across TIAA across
various stakeholders
- Executes data analytics and processes for high impact projects
across TIAA
- Comfortable completing projects using processes and steps that
are audit-friendly
- Helps to develop standardized processes to support the full
lifecycle of analytic requests including sizing/assessment,
implementation, validation, delivery, and closeout
- Develops and presents analytics-based reporting and conclusions
for various lines of business that helps to inform key business
decisions and/or initiatives
- Experience with remediation analytics
- Experience analyzing data on Snowflake
- Experience working with data on different database platforms
and manually moving data to different database platforms (i.e.
Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, Hadoop, etc.)
- Experience collecting and documenting data or business
requirements
- Comfortable presenting to executive leadership
- Experience presenting the right analysis content using the
right language to the right audience
- Experience using the correct language between technical teams
and business teams
- Must have a sense of urgency
- Execution and documentation of data validation#LI-IL1Base Pay
Range: $131,300/yr. - $218,800/yr.Actual base salary may vary based
upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base
salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and
geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive
compensation package may include, depending on the role,
participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for
example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales
incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive
