Purpose:CBRE Property Management utilizes a broad network of
Supplier Partners to deliver services and goods to our clients. The
Supplier Engagement Manager is responsible for aligning CBREs
Global Supplier Program with the specific needs of the Property
Management business. The Manager will support the business by
educating, influencing and advising key stakeholders on procurement
best practices concurrent with effective supplier management and
development of CBRE suppliers, resulting in exceptional standard of
performance and contribution towards long-term growth and
profitability.Primary Objectives:To drive the adoption of CBRE
Supplier Partner Program (SPP) for the benefit of Property
Management (Americas region)
- Lead supplier engagement activity through a schedule of
supplier events and communications
- Support the promotion and use of Supplier Partners
- Leverage all of the 4 key areas strategy & governance, global
framework, joint value creation, people and organization from the
SPP.
- Utilize tools, templates and training/guidance to ensure the
Property Management business is fully aware of the program benefits
and our partnersDrive the implementation of Supplier Partner
Program
- Utilize CBRE SPP framework and deploy it with Property Managers
in Markets; ensure continuous improvement of SRM tools, templates
and guidance materials tailored for Property Management needs.
- Identify, develop and negotiate Partnership agreements using
CBRE SPP Program Governance (in AMS)- including key terms e.g.
pricing, commercial, legal, QHSE and mutually agreed support as
necessary.
- Lead SRM sessions with assigned suppliers; Track and report on
SRM activityFocus on driving continuous improvement, innovation,
improved service delivery for customers that create growth
opportunities for Property Management, CBRE and our supply
partners.
- Ensure benefits delivered via SRM i.e. innovation, best
practice, risk mitigation, efficiencies, are collated and shared
with the Business
- Train, coach and support CBRE Property Managers and CBRE
Supplier Partners on supplier management using the SPP to achieve
benefits for Property Management clients.
- Run program of operationally focused supplier engagements based
on service, capability and innovations for Property Managers in
specific markets.
- Drive participation in Supplier Events across LOB and
facilitate local market events in AMS bringing value for Property
ManagementPartner with Property Management Procurement Managers on
Category Development
- Develop and implement category strategies for selected
categories, market sectors and localities creating fit for purpose
supply chains for markets using appropriate Supply Partners through
identifying, creating, developing and consolidating partners by
category consolidating ; ensure strategies are fit for purpose for
Property Management.
- Work with procurement teams in other lines of business,
procurement solutions teams and Supplier Partner Program team to
share category expertise, partners, supplier management and drive
broader alignment of efforts.
- Identify and realize opportunities to optimize the number of
suppliers and leverage high performing suppliers.
- Manage Supplier Risk Management program
- Partner with P2P Manager to lead Property Managements
VendorShield supplier risk program
- Engage with suppliers and clients to communicate program
benefits
- Ensure program alignment with Global Procurement Supplier Risk
Management teamKey Tasks:Develop and implement Property Management
procurement strategies and plans that result in meeting company and
divisional financial objectives and growth and retention
strategiesManage Supplier Management reporting needs and
requirements within Property Management and across the global CBRE
Procurement organization.Support crisis mgmt. to minimize
disruptions to our supply chain and business continuity.Provide
supplier management training to Real Estate Managers and operations
teamsResponsible for adherence to the overall CBRE Procurement
strategies, policies and proceduresDevelop and maintain a strong
network of supportive stakeholders that continuously promote
procurement as a valued contributor to the success of the Property
Managements business.Develop and maintain relationships at
appropriate levels within strategic and preferred supplier
organizations.Develop and implement SRM (Supplier Relationship
Management) strategies and plans with key suppliers that establish
CBRE as a customer of choice in the market place and delivers value
over and above what would normally be achieveInput to regional
planning activities with horizons of typically 1 to 4
yearsEducation and Core Competencies:Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
required. MBA Preferred.CPSM qualified, in-progress, or eligible;
or equivalent with 5 + years of operational experience in
procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or vendor management.Customer
focused, with excellent influencing and communication skills.The
ability to work with and influence a broad range and level of
stakeholders and supplier staff.Able to utilize a relationship
based approach with supplier partners able to see multiple
perspectives and deliver win (client)-win (partner)-win (CBRE)
outcomes with partners.Collaborative approach, with the ability to
maximize short term while building upon long-term productive
relationships.Highly accountable for own performance and delivery
of outcomes.Thrive on working within a fast paced organization
across the region, with a diverse supply base and wide geographical
spread of clients.Strong commercial acumen and a proven track
record of identifying and delivering substantial savings.Proficient
analytical skills and a measured approach to decision
making.Specific experience in the sourcing of Facilities Management
and/or Property Management-focused services will be beneficial.CBRE
