The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.Reporting to the Head of Business Continuity Risk Management, the Cyber Resiliency Engagement Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and ongoing monitoring of cyber resiliency principles.Major Responsibilities:Serve as a senior-level consultant on cyber resiliency and disaster recovery matters by demonstrating excellent knowledge of cyber resiliency and disaster recovery industry standards.Reviews, oversees and provides subject matter expertise for relevant business continuity management functions to ensure adherence to relevant policies, standards, guidelines, training, testing and exercises aimed at disaster recovery and cyber resiliency expectations.Performs independent reviews of cyber-resiliency controls and processes to ensure the appropriate cyber and recovery strategies are working effectively to maximize the integrity and security of company assets (including data backup architecture and technology that minimize the potential for data destruction and corruption by identifying relevant data integrity controls such as layered anti-malware and ransomware strategies, pre-arranged third party forensic and incident management services, cybersecurity tests, tabletops, etc.).Tracks and oversees cyber resiliency related issues/concerns/gaps ensuring these are managed appropriately and closed to resolution.Communicates cyber resiliency risk matters to senior management and stakeholders as required.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience requiredExperience: 10+ years related experienceCertifications:One or more security certifications is preferred, such as Certified Information Security Management (CISM), Certified Risk Information Security Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)One or more of ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, MBCI, CRP and/or other Business Continuity or industry related certifications preferred but not requiredKnowledge:Cyber ResiliencyExperience evaluating cyber resiliency (e.g., Threat Detection & Response, I&AM, DLP), IT infrastructure, IT General Computer Controls and Operational Resilience (including Business Continuity Management) ideally gained within Financial Services.Background on Cyber Security (e.g., Threat Detection & Response, I&AM, DLP) and Operational Resilience risks and controls, ideally gained within Financial Services.Current on emerging cyber threats and industry trends and standard methodologies and able to share insights with senior management.Experience defining requirements on cyber resiliency architecture, process design, implementation and testing of cyber resiliency solutions.Knowledge of security incident response process and methods.Working knowledge in the following technologies, security methods and topics: firewalls, proxy servers, load balancing, web application firewalls, vulnerability and code testing, application security, web application security, identification & authentication, cryptography, identity and access management, back-up and disaster recovery, continuity of operations, physical security, security training, host-based security techniques, and other security measures.Disaster RecoveryStrong understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies, as well as the methods used in performing risk analysis and business impact analysis and regulatory requirements including but not limited to: FFIEC, OCC, FINRA, Federal Reserve, NIST, COBIT, ITILExperience defining and implementing technologies solutions that enable organizations to respond to and recover from events in a more responsive and adaptive mannerExperience evaluating FLOD disaster recovery program to minimize operational impact and resolve immediate resiliency gaps.Working knowledge of data center operations, data center facilities management and infrastructureStrong knowledge of on premise and hosted cloud strategies, tools and techniques, including designing, implementing disaster recovery solutions.Strong knowledge of data management, including backup & recovery strategies to ensure availability and integrity of the company's data/information assets.Knowledge and use of risk management methods, including policy and standards definition, risk assessments, including third party risk management practices.Abilities:Strong personality with an ability to influence and collaborate well with internal and external stakeholdersAble to communicate to all levels of managementAble to be a leader across the organization, a valued partner, and subject matter expert on Disaster Recovery framework, policies, processes, tools, and mitigation practicesThe typical base range for this role is between $120K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
