Ritz Safety is dedicated to providing convenient and cost-effective safety products and solutions to all people and industries, worldwide. With thirteen nationwide locations, we are looking to add a Sales Account Manager to our Charlotte, NC location. The role of the Sales Account Manager is to prospect, target, develop, qualify and close new business opportunities with new customers in the construction, industrial and manufacturing marketplace. The role requires strong communication and verbal telephone presentation skills to support customer accounts, qualify new business opportunities, and up-sell new products and services. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary effort is sales and customer account management to qualify, develop, support and grow existing customer accounts or develop/mine new business opportunities. Represents Ritz Safety in a field/territory capacity to maintain, support, qualify and influence existing customers or new business opportunities to assure the territory and customer accounts are retained, developed and supported. Create communication/accountability with decision making authorities to promote and develop Ritz Safety product/sales opportunities for sales. Collaborates with field service, internal departments and sales force to effectively support, maintain and retain customer accounts through effective account management, service and support. Achieves defined sales goals and quotas via an established sales process and plan. Proposes pricing and credit terms, prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Learns and understands Ritz Safety's full product offering to effectively explain and demonstrate product features, advantages, and benefits, and build value proposition for the customer. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: New Business development within existing, and possibly new accounts as required to grow existing customers and expand territory footprint. Maintains and refines database of customers, contacts, and prospective customers. Tracks customer sales activities for account retention and development. Communicates effectively with manager any challenges, successes and needs. Provides ideas, recommendations and support regarding customer retention and sales development to their manager. Stays up-to-date on sales skills, professional knowledge and self-training to maximize professional growth and advancement. Stays up-to-date on Ritz Safety's capabilities, services and/or company changes to support customer needs. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma/GED - Applicable Associates Degree preferred. 3-5 years experience in Sales Account Manager or customer account/sales role. Strong, proven demonstrable understanding of the sales process. Strong skills in prospecting, hunting, qualifying and developing new business. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
