Job Description:

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.The EFT Data Analytics & Insights Manager will report directly to the head of the EFT Office of the CxO and establish a newly formed team - 7 existing FTE) to maximize current workforce and portfolio reporting and use the data and business knowledge of the team to drive more in-depth insights to enable operational business decisions that include but aren't limited to:

  • Workforce - Understanding and monitoring key metrics on executive scorecards (I.e. Six-S), looking for trends and using business insights to articulate key drivers (i.e. organizational changes, location strategy). - This includes key data attributes such as work location, resource type, resource level/title, DE&I, tenure, etc.
  • Talent Acquisition - Partnering with TA to understand and monitor key metrics in the recruiting lifecycle (I.e. Time to post, Time to fill, time to hire, decline rates, internal vs. external pipelines)
  • Portfolio - Understanding, monitoring and reporting on key data attributes related to the EFT book of work such as business case, Run the bank and Change the Bank levels, historical investment, investment type (i.e. regulatory), service provider, labor and non-labor capacity. -
  • Agile - Understanding, monitoring and reporting on OKRs and other data points that drive our transformation to agile delivery such as scrum team configuration, agile team registry health, product set up, modern engineering practices.This position will require the ability to synthesize large amounts of data and be able to tell a story, supporting the ability for senior leadership decisions. - Previous experience leading a team of data scientists or analysts is preferred as is knowledge of visualization tools (I.e. Power BI, Tableau).Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:
    • Experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements which may include workflows, process maps, or business processes
    • Confident, effective, concise communicator with both executive level leadership and line management levels, both verbally and in writing. - Ability to simplify complex messages for easy consumption.
    • Ability to ramp up quickly and deliver results in less defined & constantly changing environments
    • Ability to establish strategic direction and effectively mobilize a team to deliver
    • Ability to create an executive summary of large data sets in a visual way to tell a story
    • Ability to build long term relationships with a broad set of partners
    • Ability to influence at senior levels of an organization
    • Ability to use innovative thinking and technology to improve processes with an enterprise and operational mindset
    • Ability to track and evaluate performance of programs, services and initiatives
    • Experience successfully escalating complex issues and tracking follow-through to completion
    • Must have a strong service provider mind-set
    • Strong sense of urgency and results oriented, with outstanding ability to motivate teams and mobilize the resources to set high goals and accomplish; project management skills a plus.Required Qualifications:
      • 6+ years of Technology Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
      • 3+ years of Management experience
        • 6+ years of data analysis, reporting and overall business management experience
        • 5+ years of developing executive level presentations
        • 5+ years of strategic planning
        • 5+ years of financial services or consulting experience
        • 3+ years of leadership experience
        • Extensive experience with Excel
        • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc..Desired Qualifications:
          • 5+ years of experience working in Technology
          • Experience in an Agile delivery environment
          • Experience with a variety of workflow tools (i.e., Jira)
          • Experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements which may include workflows, process maps, or business processes
          • Experience successfully escalating complex issues and tracking follow-through to completion
          • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical aptitude with the ability to apply critical judgment coupled with sound analysis and troubleshooting skills
          • Excellent follow up skills with attention to detail with a customer service attitude.
          • Must be comfortable communicating up and down and within the organization including demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas through verbal and written communication including the ability to translate complex analyses and insights into relevant business discussions with diverse groups.
          • Ability to work independently and take ownership and accountability on assigned tasks driving execution through completion.
          • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
          • Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and tracking
          • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting, and SharePoint) skills
          • May direct and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
          • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
          • A BS/BA degree or higherJob expectations:
