Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own delivery of the EDI business processes end-to-end service performance for key customers
  • Oversight of the EDI client product execution, primary day-to-day contact and escalation point
  • Manage the outcomes of critical programs, influence overall EDI strategy together with key client and operating stakeholders
  • Serve as the subject matter Primary expert for EDI processes and related regulations
  • Develop, translate and provide strategy and direction to multiple operational teams around execution on client program needs
  • Partner closely with the operations, technology, and finance teams to achieve business objectives
  • Drive products, services and/or process decisions that impact the multiple business segments
  • Create the strategy and execution of communication plans for ad hoc projects and issues across the client base
  • Ongoing development and refinement of client-specific processes, client playbooks, streamlining as needed
  • Translate Voice of Customer and qualify business requirements with key stakeholders
  • Create mechanisms to measure and achieve positive NPS and expand relationships
  • Help develop and monitor Vendor Controls/SLA oversight
  • Prepare information and present at weekly business meetings, business reviews and EDI strategy meetings
  • Assist with RFPs, contracting, renewals of EDI products

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
    • 5+ experience bringing new/existing products to market through Product Lifecyle tools
    • 5+ demonstrated deep EDI subject matter expertise
    • Success applying EDI expertise across an end-to-end process in heavily matrixed and regulated environments
    • Track record of success in a client service interacting with executive stakeholders
    • Proven business operations and financial acumen, applying critical thinking to solve problems
    • Willingness to travel domestically, up to 25%

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Demonstrated deep EDI subject matter expertise
      • Solid client service experience with both strategic and operational business domain experience within Health plan Operations
      • Solid project management experience
      • Influence leadership both internally and externally to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches
      • Support achieving client and business unit performance and IOI targets
      • Essential Skills:

        • Proven experience with EDI industry knowledge
        • Think like an entrepreneur (sell, innovate, deliver)
        • Super organized, able to run with things

        • Ability to articulate complicated ideas and strategies in a clear, concise fashion
        • Proven ability to influence and hold accountable without direct oversight

          Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $113,500 to $218,100. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $113,500 to $218,100. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
