It all begins with you.Consumer Data and Engagement Platforms (CDEP)The Customer Data and Engagement Platform Group is a function that spans Wells Fargo's three Consumer Lines of Business, Consumer and Small Business Banking, Consumer Lending and Wealth and Investment Management. The goal of the function is to build cutting-edge data and analytics assets and deploy them to directly improve Customer Experience and deepen customer relationships - across digital, marketing and front-line channels.The Role At Wells Fargo we're committed to helping customers with their financial success. We believe that engaging customers on what matters most to them and helping them improve their financial situation with data-driven, personalized and actionable guidance experiences is critical to our long-term success as a bank.The Financial Health & Guidance Digital Product Manager Director will report to the head of Financial Health Engagement Platform and be ultimately accountable for customer and business outcomes associated with the following customers' goals ( jobs-to-be-done ):

  • Manage and control spend
  • Build (emergency) savings
  • Cross-goal / 'horizontal' experiences: see complete financial picture, understand current situation & know what to focus on, set goals & track progressThis leader will closely partner with the different Lines of Business, channels, and Technology to lead the following activities across the goals/ jobs-to-be-done listed above:
    • Set strategy and priorities: clearly define what we should do and why we should do it (i.e., identify customer problems and business opportunities); define key principles for how we should approach the work; set clear priorities and desired sequencing for the work; finally, define how we'll measure success (business cases, OKRs for the business AND customers)
    • Drive the design, build-out, delivery and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of experiences: closely partner with varying Lines of Business (LoBs), channels (i.e. Digital, Branch Banking, etc.), Technology, Data, Data Modeling, and with the Delivery team
    • Manage end-to-end risks: identify and manage risks and controls in close partnership with Controls, Operational Risk, Compliance and Legal, as well as with impacted channels and LoBs
    • Monitoring: actively monitor targeted business and customer outcomes/results, course-correcting and adjusting backlog/prioritization as appropriateThe CandidateThe successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and credibility with a proven ability to influence broadly across a matrixed organization, create engagement, and drive results. This executive will be a strong communicator and have proven interpersonal effectiveness with an impeccable reputation for integrity, accuracy, consistency, and business acumen. Key areas of experience include financial services and consumer segments.Required Qualifications
      • 8+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
      • 4+ years of management experienceDesired Qualifications
        • Strong product management skills, experience, and mindset: focused on outcomes and owning the experience end-to-end
          • Agile / Lean product management / development
          • Deep expertise in digital product development and customer experience design more broadly (ideally cross-channel)
          • Deep understanding of customer needs & pain points, competitor landscape, and associated risks
          • Structured, analytical thinking, and demonstrated experience around data management
          • Experience / knowledge in consumer finances strongly desirable: across spend, save, borrow, invest
          • Customer-oriented, passionate about improving the financial health of customers
          • Proven leader: demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, set vision and get buy-in, attract & develop talent, and build strong partnerships across a large, matrixed organization
          • Strong understanding of all 3 Consumer Lines of Business, including Digital and non-Digital channels
          • Demonstrated effectiveness and collaborative partner with superlative executive presence and credibility and effective decision-making/critical thinking/problem solving skill that is execution-focused and results oriented.
          • Experience managing in a complex, matrixed environment and comfortable leading and executing through influence.
            • Travel Up to 25%**Due to a city-wide mandate in New York City, all individuals who perform in-person work or interact with the public during business must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
