The group positions Wells Fargo for the future by enhancing the company's focus on planning for the digital future and investing in the customer experience. The group leads corporate strategic planning; defines and manages digital platform standards and capabilities; and manages innovation priorities, opportunities, and companywide efforts to drive transformation. The team works closely with the company's Technology Group and business lines to deliver digital solutions and innovation to customers that are integrated, intuitive, and seamless across channels. About this role:Innovation and SDI Operations is seeking a skilled Lead Product Manager -Business Analyst to lead business analysis on various digital efforts for Commercial Banking/Corporate & Investment Banking, Financial Health, Consumer Experience and Personalization. As part of a SCRUM team and Team of Teams, the Lead Business Analyst will be gathering and documenting business requirements for Digital Capabilities and Self-Service Experiences to empower customers and Wells Fargo to quickly and securely fulfill digital banking and financial needs.In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have impact across the enterprise with broad impact
  • Act as key participant in large-scale planning
  • Review and analyze complex digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area
  • Influence digital strategy for the business line requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
  • Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area requiring strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
  • Lead a broad team of digital professionals to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Potentially lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentorMore specifically, a Lead Business Analyst plays a central role in our application development process. He/she must be able to learn quickly, apply good business sense to technology issues and drive issues to resolution in a timely manner. Key abilities include working collaboratively and exhibiting influence without direct control. They work with numerous individuals and frequently interface with Product Owners, SCRUM Masters, Delivery Coordinators, User Experience Designers, Business and Systems Architects, System Analysts, QA Analysts, Developers, other BAs, etc.Responsibilities:
    • Mentor/guide the Product Owner (PO) to clearly articulate the Epic in a standard format.
    • Work with the Product Owner to document Features (Epics) in scope.
    • Attend the Agile ceremonies and meetings for the SCRUM Team(s) the BA is assigned to.
    • Work with the PO to document the business requirements for the User Stories in scope.
    • Ensure the User Stories in scope are ready in time for refinement conversations.
    • Support the business User Stories during refinement conversations.
    • Work with the PO to document requested business process models. Depict the end-to-end view, impacted systems and teams as a process flow/diagram.
    • As needed, document input/output data requirements for an API.
    • After the JPP session and before the BRP session, decompose the Epics into smaller features (in close collaboration with PO).
    • Identify the SCRUM teams/systems impacted by the features.
    • Deliver drafted features and high-level user stories to the impacted SCRUM teams.
    • Work with Business Architect to identify the domain in the BIAN model impacted by the Epic/Feature.
    • Compile the business rules associated with delivered Features in our Rules Repository.
    • May be asked to support other BAs. Meets regularly with BAs to oversee the effort and documentation. Provide guidance to help them resolve business analysis issues and improve their skills.Required Qualifications, US:
      • 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
        • 5-10 years of relevant business analysis experience in the financial or banking industry.
        • 5+ years on working on digital efforts. Strong knowledge of process for developing web applications using an Agile methodology.
        • 5+ years of Agile experience (SCRUM, Agile tools).
        • 3+ years of experience with data analysis.
        • 3+ years of UML and process modeling.
        • BA/BS degree in information science, business administration or other applicable degree.
        • Wells Fargo experience is highly desirable.
        • Requirements mentoring experience is highly desirable.Job Expectations:
          • Ability to work from one of the stated office locations at least 3 days/week.
