Job Responsibilities

• Maintain Quality System, including ISO Compliance/Registration
• Interaction with Customer's Quality Departments
• Management of shift based Quality Technicians and Quality Lab Technicians.
• Collaboration with Production to Minimize Scrap and increase efficiencies.
• Be a member of the team responsible for Problem Solving, Process Improvements, Sorting
• Train and develop Quality Techs to ensure a culture of Continuous Improvement within the plant Quality Department
• Provides technical assistance & support to the Customer Service Managers -
• Assure standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation of products meet customer and ISO requirements. Determine boundaries for future reference.
• Investigate and address customer complaints regarding quality in a timely fashion, completion of 8D's.
• Knowledge and proven use of problem solving skills; 5-Why, Shainin, Six Sigma
• Lead/delegate the audit activities within the Plant
• Assure corrective action(s) are implemented to close all internal / external findings
• Lead and participate in PPAP process in developing FMEA, Control Plans, oversee line trials, APQP to deadline, Gage R&R; Capability Analysis and Dimensional verifications and Warranty Submissions.
• Ability to create/develop/maintain project timing plans, Gauge R & R request, operator Work Instructions, Control Plans for quality assurance.
• Responsible for Gage calibration program
• Provides hands on assistance and participation with inspection and data analysis/ entry.
• 3-10 Years' Experience Preferred.
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision
• This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
