What You'll Do

As the Director of Sales for Avatria Digital Services, you will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of eCommerce professional services opportunities by prospecting and pitching potential enterprise customers. You will also leverage our current customer relationships to win new business and collaborate on joint sales opportunities with Avatria's partners. You will drive the sales process from initial outreach to a signed contract to nurturing a long-term relationship by working closely with prospective customers to understand their unique challenges and business goals.

Sales Strategy. In this role you will be responsible for evaluating the market to understand the pain points of our enterprise customers. With this knowledge you will develop and implement an overall sales strategy that will include details around prospecting approach, conference planning, marketing support, and overall go-to-market approach.

Integrated team collaboration. As the Director of Sales for Avatria Digital Services, you will work hand in hand with our leadership team and other members of Digital Services. Our team members will provide you with targeted subject matter expertise required for success, support you as you look to sell appropriate solutions to your prospects and guarantee their satisfaction.


  • Experience selling enterprise eCommerce platform implementation and/or enhancement professional services to marketing and IT directors, VPs and C-level executives at prospective customers
  • A Track record of success selling into Fortune 500 companies
  • A strong understanding of the market's needs, pain-points, strengths, and opportunities for growth
  • Ability to learn and effectively pitch Avatria's professional services to prospects - comfortable being the primary individual responsible for sales and business development activities
  • Ability to own overall sales strategy and lead the full sales cycle for Avatria Digital Services
  • Ability to conduct research into target accounts and develop effective prospecting campaigns to sell into those accounts
  • Demonstrated experience nurturing long-term customer relationships and closing sales with decision makers in large organizations

    We'd also like to see (but don't require) hands-on experience with:
    • Product sales in the eCommerce and/or Digital Marketing domains
    • CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and DiscoverOrgSelling Data Science professional services
    • Fostering and managing a network of partners for a technology organization
    • Specific experience selling SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and/or Adobe Experience Manager
