Director, Mobile Wireless Partners

Job Description:

The Spectrum Director, Mobile Wireless Partners provides leadership to Retail Sales Channel. Ensures Retail Sales Team contributes to the acquisition and retention of retail customers, resulting in customer and revenue growth

Responsible for development and oversight of Retail Sales Channel and the ongoing working relationship with Retail partners and Store management

Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through in-depth knowledge of the customer and market, competitive environment in the marketplace and the financial/strategic value of the opportunity

Develop sales plans to meet or exceed retail growth and revenue projections by overseeing the implementation of strategies for selling Charter products and services through indirect distribution channels (retailer/dealer/agent) at the Regional level. Communicate overall plan, strategy, and matrix requirements to Vice President and Store Regional Directors; monitor, evaluate results and provide detailed status updates

Develop strategic partnerships and manage the relationships with Charter Authorized Retailers to grow effectiveness of retail channel by continuously monitoring trends, opportunities, issues and performing in-depth needs assessments

Represent company in the industry, responsible for growing and maintaining the companys reputation

Serve as an escalation path for retail sales and internal partners to ensure excellent customer service

Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling points which includes enhancing expertise in the companys products and services

Provide input on training content and process based on communication with retail partners, industry best practices or recommended process improvements

Manage retail sales budgeting process and departmental expenditures while staying within budgeting guidelines

Build a high performance team by recruiting, training and retaining the best talent. Support in the recruitment process as necessary
Mentor Retail Managers in leading their teams
Demonstrate company values, foster continuous learning and development, move team forward through change and create a positive work environment where employees are able to enhance their skills and maximize their potential through coaching, training and objective performance management
Provide guidance, monitor and manage the enforcement of all Company policies

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communication in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
Work through complex, enterprise level issues with a methodical approach
Possess a self-motivated, competitive spirit and desire to manage and motivate sales team
Carry a positive and professional demeanor
Detailed orientated with exceptional analytical skills
Ability to effectively recruit and manage sales team
Knowledge of sales strategies and procedures
Knowledge of pricing, contract and billing procedures
Travel to multiple locations
Knowledge and ability to use computer and software applications
Knowledge of employment laws and procedures
Valid drivers license and ability to meet Companys motor vehicle requirements

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

Related Work Experience
Sales management; 8+ years
Cable/Telecommunications Industry; 10+ years
Program Management; 5+ years

Masters Degree

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Expert knowledge of telecommunications products and services
Outstanding leadership skills to function as a strategic business leader able to align with companys culture and values
Knowledge of sales strata
Advanced knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of retail sales environment

Corporate environment
