Job Description:

Our national retail client is looking for a Sr Manager of Creative Resources to join their team onsite full-time in Charlotte. The client is offering a lucrative relocation package for the right person including a home buyout. The role has 7 direct reports and the ideal candidate will have recent big-box retail experience, experience managing end-to-end 360 campaigns for multiple lines of business, and effectively partner with agencies and stakeholders. The role will be a command center for all assets and content, continually improving processes and capacity management.
The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage the operation of internal creative shared services including translation, trafficking, asset management, and product sourcing as well as associated budgets. In addition the role partners closely with other Marketing Operations leaders to understand creative needs and develop supporting creative resource plans across primary agencies, in-house creative, and secondary / freelance creative resources. The role is directly responsible for managing secondary agency resources and freelance creative resources to ensure capacity is available to support planned and approved off-cycle work activity. Lastly, the Sr Manager plays a strategic role in supporting the development of tools, systems, and best practices that keep Company creative operations at the forefront of industry best practices and in tune with evolving enterprise creative needs.
Responsibilities:--- Manage a team of direct reports, ensuring the needs of both individual and functional customers are met according to agreed-upon service levels. This includes Asset Management, Trafficking, Translation Services, and Product Sourcing as well as any future creative services that may be necessary--- Proactively develop and maintain creative resourcing plans based on known, planned work activity. Adjusts as needed based on work changes, leveraging understanding of internal and agency capacity (working closely with Brand Engagement leaders or delegates) to ensure resources are available as needed.--- Primary point of contact for review of all off-cycle creative asks, determining resource capacity for creative work and providing clear feedback on ability to support requested timelines / propose alternatives to meet business needs.--- Ensure operations under direct management are run efficiently and cost effectively.--- Develop creative services operations as agreed upon including both entirely new (example: support for in-house billing for creative design services) and services identified that can shift from a distributed operation today to a centralized operation in the future.--- Accountable for management of assigned budgets and expense management.--- Primary point of escalation and contact for all shared services under management, working across teams to mitigate risks / proactively identify resourcing plans to support the work.
Required Education/Experience:--- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field--- More than 5 years of experience Client or agency side marketing operations, creative services or related work experience--- Minimum of 5 years of experience demonstrated ability to develop and lead high performance teams in a fast-paced environment--- Minimum of 5 years of experience demonstrated ability to lead a service-focused organization and successfully meet the needs of clients / stakeholders served--- Minimum of 5 years of experience Big-box retail experience
