You're constantly evolving, so shouldn't your opportunities be, too?The OpportunityThe Director will be responsible for delivering high value technology solutions aligning to the needs of Ally Lending at a predictable cadence. They will serve as a Lead under the guidance of the Sr. Director, Technology; key responsibilities include managing Program Managers, contractors, and suppliers across Ally Lending domains to deliver key business functionality. They are accountable to deliver solutions on schedule and budget while meeting key business requirements.The Work ItselfManage the delivery of projects and/or releases including deliverables, cost, schedule, quality, and status reporting.Allocate and direct Program Management resources to accomplish tasks and maintain control of schedule(s).Partner with Ally Lending Technology Leadership and Release Management to ensure Agile Release Trains deliver high quality and timely releases in accordance with defined delivery schedule.Manage Engineering preparedness and engagement in SAFe and Agile Scrum ceremony activities, including Program Increment planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Collaborate closely with Ally Lending Business Partners throughout OPMO, Product, Strategic Initiative Management, Architecture, Operations, Sales, and Engineering to execute delivery, with a goal to continuously identify and implement improvements and best practices.Resolve issues and mitigate risks, escalating issues/risks when appropriate. Eliminate barriers to delivery, serving as an escalation point for Scrum Master and Team Leads.Ensure that group SLAs and KPIs are tracked and reportable.Act as team interface to Ally Lending Technology Leadership and other Business Partners.Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor teams and vendor management.Provide mentorship to lead and develop Ally Lending staff members as appropriate.The Skills You Bring7+ years of experience managing projects in the technology sector preferred.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant field of study preferred.SAFe Agile or Advanced Scrum Alliance Certification also recommended.Ability to influence change across a matrix organization and collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver solutions.Proven ability to attract and develop top talent.Customer Focus - proven track record of customer satisfaction and delivery success and ability to establish and maintain appropriate relationships with business and IT stakeholders.Consulting/Problem Solving - ability to work in an advisory capacity to identify key technical and business problems, develop and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations.Systems Delivery - extensive experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle.Technical Project Management - expertise in project management including project planning and estimating, project budgeting, staffing, change control, and status reporting.How We'll Have Your BackAlly's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
