Job Description:

The Director of Revenue Cycle will be responsible for leading the Revenue Cycle Department to generate the best possible financial outcome for the company at the lowest possible compliance risk through research, collaboration, execution and communication. This position requires the ability to work onsite at our Charlotte, NC area offices. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the Charlotte, NC area in order to be considered.
Primary ObjectiveLead the Revenue Cycle Department to generate the best possible financial outcome for the company at the lowest possible compliance risk through research, collaboration, execution and communication.
Essential Functions

  • Act as a resource for providers regarding billing of procedures
  • Use the PB dashboard, monitor the KPI's each day, identifying any variations.
  • Communicate with Supervisors and Managers within the Business Office regarding issues they have encountered which could potentially impact workflow or productivity within the department
  • Communicate with Practice Managers any changes with insurance payors or Business Office processes which might impact the clinic staff.
  • Oversee auditing of coding and communicate audit findings with providers.
  • Monitor changes with coding and insurance policy regarding reimbursement and educate providers regarding these changes
  • Work with Epic team to insure proper edits are in place to streamline billing processes.
  • Keep CFO informed of any significant issues within the Business Office.

      Training PeriodTraining period is typically 3 - 6 months. Candidate will know the mechanics of the job, but will need to learn the specifics as it applies to CEENTA and all related companies.
      Education
      • Bachelor's degree required
      • MHA or MBA Preferred
        Experience
        • Minimum 5-8 years of health care billing and/or coding management experience
        • Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
        • Knowledge of revenue cycle KPIs
        • EPIC experience preferred

            • Account Receivables
            • ERA, Manual Check and Collection Agency Payment Postings
            • Statement Processing and Refunds
            • Medical Coding and Provider Training
              Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkSalaried exempt; 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

              A Typical Day in the PositionReview the PB Revenue Cycle Dashboard to identify any significant fluctuations in Charges, Payments, Days in A/R and other KPI's. Review WQ's monitoring them for increases and research to identify any issues contributing to the increase. Communicate with Business Office Managers and Supervisors to identify and address any issues impacting their department. Address any issues as they arise. Keep CFO and CEO informed as to any significant issues which may impact revenue.
