Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company seeks a Lead Manager - Quality Assurance, Retirement & QA - IT for its Charlotte, NC location. Duties: Design, prototype, develop, test and implement best solution to user requirements and existing problems to improve the systems in terms of capability, sustainability, and scalability to support Retirement product suite. Provide testing and development support through technical analysis of incidents, bugs and problems, and tracking to closure. Participate in business and functional requirements gathering, including review of existing WMA/Vantage system configurations and operating methodologies and understanding of evolving business needs. Modify complex and sophisticated systems based on user needs utilizing existing legacy systems and peripherals consisting of blend of multiple technologies such as Mainframe, Dot Net, Oracle and proprietary Retirement Commercial off-the-shelf products. Review functional segments of legacy application and associated Data flow life-cycle of a retirement system. Prepare Technical and Functional data mapping specification document and process documents to explain the design and code. Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, develop efficient designs that are compatible with resources and develop these into user-friendly documents. Prepare daily and weekly status reports to update business teams involved in different aspects of the customized solution to ensure customized software solutions are timely delivered and recommend changes to ensure optimum efficiency through technology innovations. Apply functional knowledge on Extracted data and develop Conceptual Data flow understanding reports. Coordinate and conduct meetings with clients and team members to monitor project level duties and project statuses. Utilize Scrum Master, Orchestrators, Business stakeholders and IT teams to build Database prototypes to validate system requirements. Develop RPA (Robotics process automation) based solutions for automation process. Build automatic suite for data entry and validation. Coordinate with offshore team members and review their activities for the deliverable components. Develop new automation techniques and ensure the quality of code is up to standards. Prepare conceptual data flow report using COBOL programming and SQL (Structured Query Language). Extract and validate data from WMA system to validate the system calculation utilizing data mining techniques.Requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or closely related IT field plus at least 10 years of progressive, post-Baccalaureate experience as a Consultant, Technical Lead, or related position in IT project management. Must have at least 4 years exp. in: Retirement Insurance application development and utilizing OMNIPLUS, Omniscript, OmniVBA, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, REXX, CICS, DFSORT, INSYNC, ENDEVOR, CA7, NDM, SQL, TRACEMASTER, DUMPMASTER, MQFTP, Autosys, IBM Mainframe, IBM DB2, SQL, AgileScrum, HP ALM, HP UFT 12.5, and Selenium. 40 hours/week.
