services.ResponsibilitiesWhat do our IT M&A Integration
Manager's do? The IT M&A Integration Manager is responsile for
being accountable for the management of merger and acquisition
programs, typically (but not exclusively) involving the integration
of infrastructure and application data migrations of acquired
companies, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and
skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and
quality.This role is part of the North American IT organization
accountable for IT Mergers and Acquisitions, carrying a portion of
the accountability for IT M&A program delivery, confirming that
acquisition integration projects are compliant with the
organization's strategy and governance gates, and working to
enhance and embed those processes. Responsibilities include, but
are not limited to ; * Program & integration management
responsibilities include the end to end coordination and completion
of acquisition integration activities on time within budget and
within scope. * Oversee all aspects of projects, working with
multiple integrations at different stages simultaneously. * Set
deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize
progress of project using their developed project plan.* Prepare
reports for upper management regarding status & key risks of the
project. * They also will work directly with stakeholders to ensure
deliverables fall within the applicable scope, budget, and
governance processes. * He or she will coordinate with other
departments to ensure all aspects of the project are delivered and
manage Risks and Issues as they arise. * Takes full accountability
for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory
completion of medium to large scale projects (typically with direct
business impact and firm deadlines).* Identifies, assesses and
manages risks to the success of the project.* Ensures that
realistic project plans are maintained and ensures regular and
accurate communication to stakeholders, consistent with the methods
in use (agile, waterfall, etc).* Abides by the change control
procedures, and ensures that project deliverables are completed
within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed
off. * Ensures that projects follow formal stage gate progression
and approvals, and that they are formally closed and, where
appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are
recorded.* Provide direction and support to project teams.*
Demonstrate effective communication skills to mediate disputes and
uncover hidden objections or concerns that staff members may be
reluctant to share. * Be able to adapt to unexpected setbacks and
have a game plan for when things go wrong. * Act as a technology
advocate for coworkers at all levels. Be available as a support
resource as needed throughout the organization.* Contributions to
be made in other areas as needed. What do you need?* Bachelor's
degree (required)* Formal training or certifications pertaining to
project management, e.g. PMP, CAPM, Project+, ITIL, Prince2
(preferred not required)* Proven working experience in project
management* Excellent Stakeholder and internal communication
skills* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Solid
organizational skills including attention to detail and
multitasking skills* The IT environment relating to own sphere of
work (own organization and/or closely associated organizations,
such as customers, suppliers, partners).* The complete sequence of
activities within a process. May be simple, such as receipt of an
order to delivery of a product or service, or more complex,
involving multiple collaborating service providers.* A minimum of
10 years experience of; * Prior project management within a
multi-functional team* Technical project management work related to
data migration, infrastructure integration or upgrades with a high
focus on business stakeholder management* Prior experience with
mergers and acquisitions (preferred, not required)* Processes and
procedures based on the ITIL Framework (Incident, Problem, Change,
etc.) (preferred, not required)* Available to work Monday-Friday
and Saturdays as needed* Must pass pre-employment background screen
