Motorsports operation, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance
Technician with the capabilities to oversee the general maintenance
and repair of building, facilities, equipment and grounds. This
position works closely with all departments to ensure a safe and
highly efficient and productive environment. The ideal candidate
will reside within a 30-minute radius of the JR Motorsports
facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable Accommodations Statement

Functions Manages multiple locations including 349 Cayuga, and
Storage Unit Directs facility repairs, installations, small
construction projects, grounds improvements, and maintenance
projects. Analyzes maintenance related issues and formulates repair
action plans for improvements and modifications. Develops and
maintains schedules for preventative maintenance. Responsible for
maintaining maintenance records for all company-owned equipment.
Oversees the facility and grounds to ensure all areas are kept in a
condition consistent with company standards. Solicits bids and
estimates for desired work to be performed by outside contractors.
In addition, ensures that all outside contractors follow
established safety guidelines and utilizes required Personal
Protective Equipment while performing the contracted work. Ensures
proper permits and regulations are being followed related to all
maintenance work performed on-site. Provides a variety of services
to the locations involving carpentry, electrical, plumbing,
mechanical troubleshooting and repair work. First call for
emergency alarm calls for security or fire for his assigned
locations. Works with owners, managers, supervisors and all
personnel as needed as asked to help to fix and maintain or repair
any needs. Maintain and repair retail store penny press machine
Fill in as needed when the race team needs parts run, parts help at
the counter, drive the rollback, box truck and parts trucks.
Receives all large freight deliveries for all departments Assist
operations with all events including set up, tear down, delivery,
pickup, etc. Handle and manage all storage needs for company by
making space, adjusting records as needed. Head driver for forklift
and all of its maintenance. Service all light, emergency lighting,
and exit signs. Ballast replacement as necessary Responsible for
maintaining fire protection equipment and related inspections.
Handles filter replacement HVAC maintenance on a minor level
Electrical experience on a minor level POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 5 plus years of experience Computer Skills: Basic
computer skills. Certifications & Licenses: Forklift certification.
Other Requirements: Demonstrated ability to communicate with all
levels within the organization. Strong written and oral
communication skills. Time management experience necessary. Strong
mechanical and electrical aptitude required. Must be able to
effectively utilize hand and power tools. Live within a 30-minute
radius of 349 Cayuga Drive, Mooresville, NC
