Job Description:
Job Title: Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer Primary
Function: Support the Project Manager in managing jobsite
operations and ensure technical compliance with engineering
standards, particularly for water or wastewater treatment plant
projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Management Support: Assist
with billing, change orders, cost analysis, and coordination
Monitor labor reports and advise on crew size, methods, and
equipment Support scheduling and overall daily project management
Engineering Duties: Interpret specifications and prepare accurate
production drawings Manage procurement, submittals, certifications,
and material delivery Maintain project documentation and process
vendor/subcontractor invoices Implementation & Communication: Build
strong relationships with owners, engineers, and subcontractors
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with
accurate cost forecasting Identify and pursue fair compensation for
scope changes Safety & Team Building: Enforce safety policies and
recommend improvements Foster team development and mentor junior
staff Promote a dependable and collaborative work culture
Qualifications: 4-year engineering degree or equivalent experience
Experience with water or wastewater treatment plant projects is
required Familiarity with Primavera and construction management
practices Strong communication and organizational skills
