Position: Azure DevOps Cloud Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Contract Length: 6 months + (budget approved through end of 2023 so will extend)

**Project Overview: This role will lead RBS in their Azure Kubernetes adoption for Microservices hosting platform.**

Responsibilities:

• Implement reusable automated CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate closely with waterfall-centric teams to drive adoption of DevOps practices and tooling
• Evangelize automation throughout the software pipeline, including code scanning, test automation and infrastructure-as-code
• Implement dashboards and metrics
• Provide team guidance on agile and DevOps practices Must Haves:
  • Hands on DevOps Automation experience
  • Kubernetes/Docker container automation
  • Azure or AWS/Google Cloud or Hybrid Cloud experience Qualifications:
    • 7+ years of relevant work experience in related aspects of software engineering
    • Passion for working with software pipeline automation technologies
    • Engineering experience implementing CI/CD automation, including tools such as Jenkins, GitHub and Azure DevOps
    • Understanding of code quality tools and practices (SAST/DAST, SonarQube, pair programming, code coverage, code review, etc.)
    • Strong verbal and visual communication skills
    • Excellent diagnostic, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
    • Able to adapt quickly to change without being afraid to take on new responsibilities in a fast-paced team environment while being proactive and action-oriented Preferred candidates will also have:
      • Experience with containers, Docker and Kubernetes
      • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps-related technologies is a plus (such as ARM Templates, AKS, Azure Container Registries)
      • Experience with test automation tools/frameworks is a plus (Selenium, Junit, PyTest, etc.)
      • Database knowledge and experience, particularly MS SQL, MySQL and Azure SQL

Hands on DevOps Automation experience Azure Cloud experience Experience building with Kubernetes application templates Experience with Elastic Search Engineering experience implementing CI/CD automation, including tools such as Jenkins, GitHub and/or Azure DevOps.
