Controls Engineer, Industrial / Manufacturing
(Charlotte, NC / Cleveland, OH / Chicago, IL)
We have excellent career opportunities for Controls Engineers working in the local and regional areas of Charlotte, Cleveland, or Chicago. Travel is more local and regional with occasional overnight support.
The Controls Engineer Responsibilities Include:
* Overall, responsible for developing, programming, testing, and commissioning of industrial electrical control systems
* Perform and create designs, documentation, and programming of industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, hardware, wiring, configurations, and a variety of industrial and manufacturing applications in the local/regional area
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
* A.S. Degree/Diploma or Vocational-Technical School or Equivalent Experience
* Working knowledge and proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, hardware, and software required; Siemens, Wonderware, Fanuc experience preferred
* 2+ years of controls systems, PLC, HMI, VFD, and other systems wiring, software, configurations, and programming experience
* Ability to travel local / regional (occasional overnight) around the Charlotte, Cleveland, or Chicago areas
