UVA Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a Windows
Server Engineer for the Research Computing Infrastructure Services
team. - This position is responsible for the deployment and
administration of Windows Server Virtual Machines in our Standard
and High Security VDI environments. -They will develop and manage
our Windows Computing environment, assist our User Services team
with user project provisioning, including some Linux VM deployment,
and storage provisioning. -The mission and goal of Research
Computing is to provide centralized computational resources for
researchers rather than general enterprise IT capacity. This
involves working with a wide range of research software packages
and the OpenStack Private Cloud Platform. This is an outstanding

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical
And at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- 7 -years of - administrative experience may be considered in
lieu of a degree
- Strong ethernet debugging skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and interested in new
technologies
- Able to work collaboratively and independently.
- Preferred Skills: GPO, Ansible, OpenStack and NIST
800-171Anticipated hiring range : $75,000-$90,000Benefits Include:
