This role is primarily responsible for Health Care domain consulting in the Business Process Re-engineering team. This will be a client interfacing role and would demand candidate to possess excellent client relationship management skills, communication skills, stakeholder management apart from hands on experience in a consulting environment.

In this role, the Senior Engagement Manager will conduct end to end business assessments and discovery to identify top focus areas for clients. You wil lead and participate in high impact re-engineering projects emerging out of discovery assessments or otherwise. You should be able to lead and drive Discover - Design - Deploy lifecycle of R&A projects as well as set up priorities for process improvements across business operations. As you work closely with clients, stakeholders and cross functional teams you will plan and lead projects, adopt, leverage and build methodologies and tools to deliver results.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify future state art of the possible
  • Lead a project successfully and in a timely manner from inceptions to deployment and control
  • Execute a data-driven, statistical approach to problem solving, including gathering, analyzing and reporting data
  • Work closely with stake holders to identify issues with their processes and come up with innovative solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy in the process
  • Drive Lean Six Sigma quality culture in the organization through various lean six sigma trainings
  • Present project analysis and findings to senior leadership to obtain the approval, funding and other requirements to resolve the issue

    Up to 25% travel may be required and could include travel internationally. Valid passport necessary.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 6+ years work experience in a professional role
    • 4+ years experience in the U.S. healthcare space
    • 3+ years in a consulting/customer facing /market research /marketing environment
    • Solid understanding and application of Six Sigma principles
    • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
    • Valid, updated passport required for any necessary travel nationally and internationally

        Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
