Product Support Engineer
The Imaging Source (TIS) is a multinational vision technology company with headquarters for the Americas in Charlotte, North Carolina. TIS is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Product Support Engineer. This is an expansion position and open for immediate hire.
As Product Support Engineer you will represent TIS in customer communication via phone, email, remote tools, and on-site to assist customers involving TIS products and services. On-site travel will be within North America. Extensive initial training, continuous support from team of senior engineers, and encouragement for opportunities to expand knowledge base. This role has growth options with frequent evaluations.
Responsibilities

• Support customers via phone, email, remote communication, and on-site
• Product installation and integration guidance
• Technical pre and post sales customer support
• Application development and implementation guidance
  Experience
  
  • Strong experience in Linux
  • Working knowledge in Python, C/C++, C#, VB.NET, Visual Studio
  • Project programming experiences
  • Nice to haves: MATLAB, LabVIEW, OpenCV, image processing experience
  • Camera and optics knowledge a plus
    Requirements
    
    • Independent, resourceful, self-motivated, and responsive to urgent requests
    • Experience in analyzing customer issues and addressing them with proven troubleshooting skills and techniques
    • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and precisely to customers of varying technical knowledge levels
      Education
