Lube & Tire Mechanic with a $2,000 Sign on Bonus - Salisbury, NC Vector Fleet Management, LLC is an American based, privately held company that has been in the fleet maintenance business for over 30 years. Vector Fleet provides onsite, customized fleet maintenance solutions for clients in numerous states across the U.S.Thanks to new business, Vector Fleet Management has an opening for an experienced Lube Technician to join our team in support of our customer's fleet located in Salisbury, NC. This is a key position with a rapidly growing company that has a true customer service culture.Primary duties include but are not limited to:Perform preventive maintenance on various types of on-highway gasoline and diesel powered vehicles in a shop environmentReplace, repair and balance tires as needed using mount/dismount equipmentAssist other technicians with minor repairs as neededPick up and deliver parts and assist with truck shuttling as neededAssist in maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment. Including but not limited to cleaning shop and service truck & equipment, floors and fluid containment areas Qualifications/RequirementsMust possess adequate hand and power tools required to perform routine repairs and maintenanceMust be able to work independently and have a proven track record as a self-starter with adherence to company work and safety policies.Must have acceptable driving record and pass a drug screening and background check.VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED (CDL a plus) Education and/or ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience that includes performing service and repair on the vehicle and/or equipment components and systems summarized above.Experience with Ford, GM and Chrysler a plusCurrent ASE certifications for Automotive and/or Med/Heavy Trucks are a plus What We Offer:Dayshift hours Monday through FridayExcellent pay for the right candidates$2,000 Sign on BonusPaid Vacation and Holidays beginning on day oneFULL benefits (health, dental, and vision)401k PlanMany other benefits---.
