Environmental and Remediation Services divisions. We are currently
seeking a Sr Security Engineer to work with our team to help build
out, maintain, and troubleshoot our security footprint and
infrastructure. They must be equipped and able to work in a dynamic
and rapidly expanding environment. This person will serve as a
member of a talented team and must demonstrate superb technical
competency in delivering mission-critical infrastructure and
ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and
security. This position is responsible for the support and overall
operation of the company's information technology security and
infrastructure including networks, servers, and endpoints. Reports
To: Senior Director of Information TechnologyEssential Functions:
Support of all information technology security and infrastructure.
Experience with demonstrated aptitude/skill in software and
hardware including: Required:
- Evaluate, design, build, document and implement
customer-focused infrastructure and security solutions
- Partner with management to design long-term strategic goals and
short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining security and
infrastructure
- Design, implement, maintain the security footprint of the
company including all security domains and CMMC
- Ensure that proposed and existing system and security
architectures align with business goals and objectives
- Be a best practice resource for the team in Security and
Infrastructure
- Partner with management in annual budget planning
- Prepare for, manage, and remediate findings for all
internal/external audits and pen testing
- Plan, direct, and oversee projects as required
- Identify and implement continual process improvement
- Develop expert-level documentation for internal teams to
reference
- Partner with other business units and provide excellent
communication
- Monitor and maintain system security and logs for maximum
access
- Coordinate server, tablet, desktop, laptop and smart device
security including endpoint, encryption, and MDM
- Plan, direct, and oversee the backup, disaster recovery, and
business continuity functions in accordance with corporate
policies
- Manage the development policies and procedures, including those
for architecture, security, and disaster recovery
- Develop strong working relationships with outside vendors to
obtain favorable pricing and efficient support
- Provide expert level tier 3 support with exceptional customer
service Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure and administration
- Expert level networking knowledge
- Solid knowledge of packet sniffer (Wireshark) and other
troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge and experience with ITIL framework methodology and
implementation
- Working knowledge of Change and Patch management
- Experience working with and building a SIEM
- Working knowledge of security management practices and
frameworks, ie NIST
- Knowledge and experience with DNSSEC, DKIM, SPF, and PKI
configuration and troubleshooting
- One or more current certifications: CISSP, CCNA (or higher),
ITIL Education/Experience:
- Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems,
related subject, or equivalent military experience in lieu of a
degree.
- Minimum 10 years' experience.

programPhysical Demands:Must be able to satisfactorily pass a
pre-employment and annual physical examination as required under
HEPACO's Medical Surveillance Program. Regularly requires
intermittent sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing,
squatting, and kneeling. Physical strength and dexterity sufficient
to perform the required task. Must occasionally lift and/or move up
to 100 pounds or more with assistance. Work Environment: Fast paced
