Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Agile Coach to
promote Agile methodologies and help lead our Agile Evolution and
Agile Coaching team. The Senior Agile Coach will work with
cross-functional teams and leaders to design, implement, and
continuously improve Agile frameworks, practices, methods, and
concepts that align with desired business and customer outcomes.
This role will promote the Agile mindset, values, principles, and
practices while providing pragmatic guidance to ensure we create an
effective, adaptive culture. The ideal candidate should have
extensive experience in Agile implementations, strong leadership
skills, and a proven ability to guide Agile transformations across
large and complex organizations.Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist the Director of the Agile Center of Excellence in
developing and leading the Agile coaching strategy and vision for
the Agile transformation initiatives across the organization,
including design, implementation, and continuous improvement of
Agile frameworks, practices, methods, and concepts.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Agile Coaches,
teams, and leaders to promote an adaptive, learning culture of
continuous improvement and innovation.
- Work with teams and stakeholders to design and implement Agile
frameworks and methods that fit the context of the system at TIAA
and align with business objectives and outcomes.
- Identify and address roadblocks that may impede the evolution
of our Agile practices and work with teams and leaders to develop
solutions that enable Agile methods to be successful.
- Develop metrics and assessments that evaluate Agile progress,
success, and areas of improvement.
- Partner with business leaders to align Agile outcomes with
business objectives and ensure Agile implementations are aligned
with the overall organizational strategy.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and
improvement by promoting Agile values and principles.
- Develop and evolve the Agile operating model at scale to fit
the context of the enterprise.
- Participate in the Agile community and remain up to date with
emerging Agile concepts, methods, and practices.Educational

- 5 or more years of experience in a coaching role (Agile Coach,
Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer or similar role)
- Experience working with Agile frameworks and methods, including
Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Extreme Programming, and various scaling
frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, S@S, etc.). Preferred
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and training Agile
teams and leaders.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal
skills.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead Agile
transformations.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver success, scaled Agile
implementations in complex organizations.
- A pragmatic, systems thinking approach to Agile and related
practices that balances principles with practical implementation to
fit the context of the teams and organization in which you're
working.
- Expertise in a wide variety of methods and practices such as
DevOps, Objectives and Key Results, Cynefin, Lean Startup, Design
Thinking, scaling Agile, product management, customer development,
intent-based leadership, systems modeling, organizational design,
Jobs-to-be-Done Theory, and other advanced concepts.
- Bachelor's degree -
- Agile certifications in frameworks and coaching from reputable
institutions such as Scrum Alliance, Scrum Inc., Scrum.org, Scaled
Agile Framework, Large-Scaled Scrum, Kanban University, ICAgile, or
the International Coaching Federation (ICF) are preferred.
- Certified LeSS Practitioner (CLP), SAFe Program Consultant
(SPC), Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC), and Certified Scrum
Professional (CSP) are preferred.Base Pay Range: $128,600/yr. -
$214,400/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited
to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal
peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package
may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive
program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary
incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other
non-annual incentive
