About the role:
The Pit Crew Coach will be responsible for instructing, training and motivating the team members of the RFK Racing pit crew. -This individual's internal motivation should come from their personal desire in wanting to assist others in maximizing their individual potential for the benefit of the team as a whole.

What you will be doing:
Inspiring confidence, self-belief, and motivation to pit crew members.
Establishing performance goals for individuals to improve the success of the team.
Assessing strengths and weaknesses in a team member's performance and identifying areas for further development.
Working with IT-based resources to monitor and measure performance as well as develop practice strategies.
Communicating instructions and directions using clear, simple language.
Ability to demonstrate an activity by breaking down the task into a sequence.
Encouraging team members to gain and develop skills, knowledge and techniques.
Ensuring team members to train and perform to a high standard of health and safety at all times.
Assist the Human Performance Manager with development and continued maintenance of depth charts
Acting as a role model at all time, gaining the respect and trust of co-workers.

What you need:
3 plus years of coaching experience at collegiate or professional level required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Friendly and professional demeanor
Desire to learn, seek new challenges and to take on additional responsibilities
Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to develop strong peer level relationships and work in a team environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Must be thorough with a strong sense of attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and excellent data analysis skills of film footage
Must work well under pressure
Ability to lead, influence, and inspire others
Proven ability to build internal relationships and interact with all levels of the organization

Self-motivated, driven, success-oriented individual with collaborative communication style
The determination to work harder than anyone you know
High energy with ability to work long/flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to travel as needed
Ability to routinely walk, kneel, bend, and stand up to 8 hours per day and lift up to 75 lbs.
