Job Description:
Job Description Make an Impact As an Architect II , you will be
responsible for the technical design content of documentation,
coordination of all disciplines including consultants, and overall
project quality. You will provide leadership in the building
systems integration process during all phases of the design process
within a multi-disciplinary project team, with limited oversight
from senior staff. Deliver Results Monitor and contribute to the
design process from the conceptual phase through construction
administration, ensuring the design intent is consistently and
properly executed. With the senior Architect, make determinations
on the overall strategy for producing the documents and identify
the drawings and related documents required for each stage of the
work for the project team. This includes the level of development
required for the Building Information Model (BIM). Collaborate
across disciplines to resolve complex technical issues, ensure
integration of disciplines, and provide strategies for meeting
aggressive schedules and budgets. Attend site-visits to expedite
construction and resolve issues encountered in the field such as
unforeseen conditions, code issues and interpretation of
construction documents. Execute document modifications, review
submittals, review substitution requests and answer requests for
information during bidding and construction. Mentor and support the
work of less experienced staff. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s
Degree in Architecture from an NCARB accredited program. Completion
of Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and Architectural
Registration Exams (ARE’s) resulting in Architecture Licensure. 5
years as a licensed Architect or 10 years of post-graduate
architectural experience. Strong knowledge of Revit, including
experience producing construction documents. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Preferred
Qualifications Master’s Degree in Architecture from an NCARB
accredited program. NCARB registration and AIA membership. CSI-CDT
certification. LEED AP BDC and/or WELL AP certification. Experience
in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Teams. Proficiency in
SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and BSD Spec Link.
