Requirements: Required Certifications: ASCP-HT Required Skills: Hospital clinical , Additive fixatives, Cell component preservation indications and contra-indications for use, Core biopsies, Curettings, Decalcification, Excision specimens, Formalin, Frozen Section/tissues, Incisional biopsies, Non-additive fixatives, Reagents types/components, Shave biopsies, Automatic tissue processor, Calcified/decalcified tissue, Clearing/types of agents, Dehydration/ types of agents, GI Processing Schedule, Automated/Manual Microtome, Cuts tissue sections using microtome and cryostat, Cutting blocks, Embedding GI specimens, Embedding large specimens, Embedding Molds, Embedding smalls and bigs, Embedding skin techniques, Histology Cassettes, Microtomy of Fatty Tissue, Microtomy of Frozen sections, Microtomy of hard tissue, Paraffin Wax sections, Precision microtomy, Removing foreign objects as allowed by protocol, Basic dye stains, Hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stain, Identifying Artifacts, IHC staining, Nuclear stains, Periodic Acid-Schiff (PAS) stain, Prepares frozen section and mounts sections on glass slides, Prepares slides for staining, Special Stains, Coverslip, Slide Printer Job Details: Pay: $1537/week - $1750/week Assignment Length: 16-week assignment Shift: 5, 8-Hour 06:00 - 14:30 At least one year of experience required Aya delivers: The most jobs in the industry.
