Job Description:
Join WestRock's Engineering and Maintenance team as an HVAC
Manufacturing Maintenance Tech on the 1st shift, focused on
sustaining the high-performance levels of our innovative and
sustainable packaging solutions. This role is pivotal in
maintaining the operational effectiveness of our HVAC systems,
which are crucial to the quality and reliability of our packaging
products across various sectors. With a commitment to excellence
and continuous improvement, the successful candidate will apply
their technical skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment,
driving efficiency and supporting our mission to enhance brand
efficacy and customer satisfaction through top-tier packaging
solutions. Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs of
HVAC systems to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot issues related to
HVAC equipment and systems, contributing to enhanced operational
reliability. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement
maintenance strategies that support productivity and
sustainability. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities
and system performance to facilitate continuous improvement. Assist
in the installation of new HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with
safety and industry standards. Participate in safety training and
compliance with all workplace regulations to ensure a safe working
environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
Strong technical and mechanical skills Knowledge of industrial
safety standards and protocols Effective communication and
collaboration skills Proficiency in using HVAC maintenance tools
and diagnostic equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k EPA Section 608 Certification for
handling refrigerants OSHA Safety Certification is beneficial
