Career Strategies is seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a reputable property management team in the Greenville, SC area. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid background in general maintenance who takes pride in providing excellent service to residents and maintaining property standards. Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property are well-maintained and fully functional. This includes responding to service requests, performing routine maintenance tasks, and working closely with residents and staff in a courteous and professional manner. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair issues related to: Electrical systems Plumbing and HVAC Appliances Flooring, stairs, railings, and fixtures Perform drywall repairs, painting, and touch-ups Maintain cleanliness, pick up trash, and upkeep of common areas and grounds Prepare vacated units for new occupancy (make-ready tasks) Conduct regular inspections and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Core Skills & Requirements: Plumbing: Install/repair faucets, pipes, water heaters, garbage disposals, etc. Electrical: Repair/install outlets, switches, fixtures, ceiling fans, and more HVAC: Troubleshoot and service heating and A/C systems Drywall & Painting: Patch and paint walls, especially in turnover units Appliances: Install/repair refrigerators, ovens, washers/dryers, etc. Groundskeeping: Lawn care, tree trimming, light bulb replacement, debris removal Cleaning: Ensure common areas and vacated units are clean and ready Qualifications: Must have your own basic tools Reliable transportation Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions Strong communication and problem-solving skills Authorized to work in the U.S. Must pass a background check Career Strategies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
