for a full-time publishing assistant. We offer schedule

collaborative, creative environment. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Our
publishing assistant/book guide loves structured and focused
processes to help our high-profile clients with thoughtful guidance
while keeping them on task and on budget. This publishing
assistant/book guide has a superpower for solving problems,
organizing, clarifying client concerns, following up, effectively
communicating in English, and helping clients to discover the best
solutions to successfully complete the publishing steps and
processes. This role is all about following established procedures,
accuracy, managing projects, and being of service to amazing
business leader clients who are publishing books with the goal of
building their businesses, brands, and platforms. For the right
candidate, this position may be a combination of virtual and
in-person and/or accommodate less than full-time hours. THE IDEAL
CANDIDATE: Previous experience working (5+ years) in an
office-based customer service, creative project coordination
environment. High proficiency with Microsoft - Word and Excel
spreadsheets is required. Although this is not an editing position,
basic editing and writing skills are needed to manage our expert
editorial partners and social media posts. Possesses the ability to
make mature decisions, multitask, have great focus and attention to
detail, follow processes, follow-up and address client questions,
meet deadlines, interact with clients, vendors, and teammates in a
kind and professional manner, and communicate clearly in English.
SOME OF THE ESSENTIALS:This role will provide an exciting
opportunity to serve with and impact nonfiction authors in a
creative environment by performing the following:--- Support and
guide clients through specific publication production processes,
including keeping them on deadline, on budget, setting up printer
and distribution options, and other tasks as needed to publish.---
Accurately write, edit, and/or proofread correspondence.--- Loyal,
people person, kind, process follower.--- Create, implement, and
monitor social media and blog content.--- Coordinate special event
details, projects, requested promotions, and administrative tasks
as needed.--- Research and generate lists, schedule speaking
engagements, and other opportunities for the president. TO APPLY
